Waratah
Colourway: NATURALS
Persian handknotted / Handspun wool & pure silk / High and low pile heights
The word Waratah means ‘red flowering tree’ and was named by the Eora people of Sydney. This stunning bright red wildflower is now the state flower of NSW. In the Waratah design hand carved pure silk sits against a background of handspun wool to create this masterpiece.
The Wildflower rugs make beautiful wall tapestries as well as floor rugs and are true art pieces.
