Empire State

The Empire State design Conceived during a memorable visit with my daughter, Rikki, for the launch of a collection in 2012, it reflects both a personal moment and a design influence.
It draws on the strong, linear elegance of New York’s Art Deco architecture, inspired by the city’s iconic skyline.

Defined by structure, symmetry, and vertical rhythm, the design reflects both precision and presence. Hand-knotted using natural materials, it balances refined detail with enduring strength. Through subtle texture and tonal and natural material variation, the piece captures the architectural language of the city, timeless, confident, and quietly powerful.
